What are the opening hours?
Happy Inn is open every day from 9am to 6pm with the exception of the following days:
– King’s Day | 27 April (closed)
– Christmas Day | 25 December (closed)
– Easter Day (10:00-18:00)
– Boxing Day | 26 December (10:00 to 15:30)
– New Year’s Day | 31 December (10:00 to 16:30)
– New Year’s Day | 1 January (closed)
When did the name change from Monkey Town Alkmaar to Happy Inn Alkmaar take place?
On Friday 15 September 2023, Monkey Town Alkmaar switched to a new name: Happy Inn Alkmaar!
Can I keep using my 10-ride card?
Yes, the tickets sold by us at our location (with the Monkey Town Alkmaar logo) remain valid as long as there are still clicks on them.
With regard to the 10-ride tickets bought at other Monkey Town locations, we will also accept these out of consideration until mid-November 2023.
How much does the entrance cost per child?

What age range is Happy Inn for?
Children aged 1 to 12 can play in the play equipment at Happy Inn.
Food and drinks
Can I bring my own food & drinks?
Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring and consume your own refreshments at Happy Inn. We make a natural exception for bringing your own fruit & vegetables.
I have an allergy, can it be taken into account?
Absolutely! However, it is important to indicate this to one of our colleagues when ordering. That way we can best advise you on the possibilities.
Is the kitchen staff trained?
All kitchen staff hold an HACCP certificate. As a result, they are aware of how to handle food and the corresponding hygiene measures.
Safety and hygiene
Can I keep my shoes on while playing?
No, you can leave your shoes at the table. Playing in the play equipment is much more fun without shoes on and it is also safer for you & the other children/escorts.
Please note: when playing laser tag, it is compulsory to wear footwear.
Are there lockers available at Happy Inn?
Yes, lockers are available at Happy Inn Alkmaar. Ask about this at our entrance/counter.
Please note: we ask for a deposit of €5.00, which will be returned to you when you return the locker key.
Facilities

Yes, as a visitor, you can park for free both outside and inside our car park.

Yes, we always have a variety of different magazines available for our visitors.
